Caroline Mattioli

As a teenager I volunteered at the Houston SPCA, which peeked my interest in working with animals. I also worked as a Client Care Team Member, and I completed Texas Wildlife Center’s internship.
This was just the start of getting into the animal field.

    Jess Harder

    Jess has extensive experience working with a large variety of species over the past 10 years. Training lions, tigers, and bears are all in her repertoire. After working with exotics, she was a Cruelty Investigator for the Houston SPCA for several years. Now, she is excited to be your dog's new best friend! With her training expertise, she's ready to help you and your dog thrive.

    You may see Jess's dogs, Gary and Georgia, in certain lessons. They serve as helpful distractions for your dog's training, and we are super lucky to have them on our team.

    LIVE with Denise Fenzi & Sailor Jerri

    Denise has titled dogs in obedience, tracking, schutzhund, herding, conformation, and agility. Perfect scores in both schutzhund and Mondio ringsport obedience, and is well known for her flashy and precise obedience work. Denise's real passion lies in training dogs and solving the problems that her own dogs and her students' dogs present. Jerri founded the Open Minded Approach which is completely changing reactive dogs and their owners worldwide. Check them out! 

    Meet the beast

    Onyx Mattioli

    Onyx was rehomed multiple times and returned to the Houston SPCA twice. No one knew how to give her what she needed, which was: proper exercise AND rest, a purpose in life, fulfillment, and understanding breed characteristics. She is a Certified Training Partner with KPA, and holds CGC CGCA CGCU TKN FDC BCAT titles.
