Experience:

• I started off in doggie daycare and kennel tech work for 1 year at different facilities in Texas. 
• I volunteered at the Houston SPCA.
• I began training with my German Shepherd through Karen Pryor Academy.
• I learned different styles of training methods by working with other trainers. 
• I was a Training Manager for 3 years at a facility in Houston.
• I assisted in opening a new training facility in Houston for another training company.
• I now have my own training company.
• I have worked with everything from puppies to struggling adult dogs, to rowdy teenage dogs, and to reactive, shy, fearful, anxious, overly-aroused and exuberant dogs. I have been training for about 5 years now and have seen many different types of dogs. 

The name comes from the countless clients I've worked with who would say “Oohhh, got it!” after training together. My goal is for people to feel like they get it. 

Single Lesson: I will show you how to realistically train your dog and coach you throughout the session. You will receive my training manual for guidance. There is a lot to cover: be prepared to take notes. 

3 Lesson Package: We will work together throughout each session and tackle you and your dog's needs. You will receive my training manual for guidance. 

10 Day Package: This is a 10 day program where I come work with your dog one-on-one for an hour. 8 lessons are for your dog and I to build training, and 2 lessons are for you to learn how to continue. I follow a standard curriculum, however customization may be involved on my acceptance and depending on your goals.

20 Day Package: This is a 20 day program where I come work with your dog one-on-one for an hour for 16 lessons throughout the month. 4 lessons will be for you to learn how to maintain your dog's training.  I follow a standard curriculum, however customization may be involved on my acceptance and depending on your goals.

I place a strong emphasis on positive reinforcement-based training. However, I am realistic! I know how to properly utilize training tools as needed. I do not shy away from using rewards as well as boundaries, and I can show you how to do that properly. 

Training is HIGHLY dependent on the dog's owner to maintain their training for results to stay. I help lay a foundation, but the dog is your responsibility. It is up to you to learn how to work with your specific dog. Every dog learns at a different pace - no one likes to be compared to others, so while your dog CAN learn certain things...that may look different for each dog. 

I'm dog AND people trainer. To excel in this field, good trainers need to be human and dog coaches. I will coach you with purpose and help guide your skills appropriately so you can communicate effectively to your dog. Let's get you and your dog speaking the same language!
